Info CoolCraft Staff Applications

First, you must apply for Cadet. This is a trial rank. If you are accepted, you will have a two month trial, in which you have basic staff permissions.

Next, you are promoted to Officer at the end of your 2 months unless we find that you are not suitable as a staff member. Officer is a full-fledged staff rank with almost all staff permissions. Officer is a stable staff position; you will not be demoted unless there is a special condition.

Sergeants are promoted if we find you doing exemplary work as an Officer. Sergeant is simply an honorary version of Officer, usually meaning that the user has been staff for a very long time, doing a great job.

A Sergeant is rarely promoted to Admiral (an Administrative rank), but it is possible if a staff member proves to be a good candidate for Admiral; they will be personally invited by Generals (the Owners) if we find we need an Admiral.

There are a few steps you must complete before you can be a CoolCraft Cadet. First, you must apply at coolcraftmc.net/application. If we choose not to accept you, we will post a unique denial message for you explaining why we chose not to accept your application.

If we do like your application, we will reply to your application with more information about the next phase. This the staff interview. In this, we will ask you basic questions about your application and why we should accept you. You will know if you have been accepted within 5 minutes of the end of the interview except for special occasions in which it may take longer.

If you are accepted, you will immediately be given training. Staff applications will normally close after one user is accepted. You will be given your in-game, Enjin, and TeamSpeak tags right away, and invited to our Skype chats. If you are not accepted after your interview, you will be given specific tips on how you could do better next time and our rejection reasons by voice.

These are the requirements that you absolutely must meet before applying with no exceptions. If we find you do not meet these requirements, your application will be immediately denied.

• You must be at least 12 years old. (If you are mature above your age, 10 is the absolute minimum age.)
• You must have been a part of the CoolCraft network for one month.
• You must not have a severely offensive recent punishment record.
• You must have a Skype and TeamSpeak account.
• You must have a Google account.

Following these guidelines will greatly increase your chances of acceptance. These are what we look for in our applicants.

• Detail is necessary. Put as much support into your claims as possible without going completely off-topic.
• You must be familiar with our website rules and our /rules on the server. You must also be knowledgeable about resources for new players and other community knowledge. Please prove this knowledge in your application. Most of the Punishments & In-Game Knowledge questions will change each time applications open.
• Be patient. Rushing staff to check your application will result in an instant deny and will show us you are not mature enough to be patient. You are allowed to tell non-staff players you have applied.
• If we reject you, read the rejection message. Each rejection message is crafted specifically for each applicant so you can understand how to improve. Wait your 2 weeks, then you can reapply with those tips in mind. When you reapply, we will look for improvement in the area of your last rejection.
• Be honest; if we find you have lied about anything in your application, you will be denied.
• Be mature; you can joke around, but you must know when to get serious.
• All these guidelines apply to everywhere on the CoolCraft network.
